- Volunteer and Community Service Programme ~ Without the collective energy and caring spirit of our volunteers, we would not be in a position to run our programme successfully. Being a Headway volunteer means you will be giving, but we believe that you will also be receiving. Receiving in the sense that you will be contributing to a worthwhile project and by giving of your time, you will be making a real difference in someone’s life, someone who may have lost almost everything. Home and hospital visits.

If you contact Headway, you will be able to speak with someone who will be able to answer your questions and provide you with advice and information. We can offer assistance on practical matters such as what to do when the injured person is discharged from hospital, make suggestions regarding rehabilitation and support you in understanding some of the changes that have taken place to the injured person and generally assist you with learning to live with brain injury.
